A EIKI projector that auto-shuts after 5–15 minutes is almost always blocked airflow or a tired cooling fan. Dust on the intake filter, dried thermal paste on the lamp housing, and a slowing fan let the temperature sensor trip the safety cutoff. Our overheating fix is internal cleaning, filter replacement, thermal-paste renewal and a fan check — usually completed in one on-site visit.

Eiki projectors use 3LCD: white light is split into red, green and blue beams via dichroic mirrors, each beam passes through its own LCD panel, and the three colour images recombine in a prism before the lens. Result: higher colour brightness for the same lamp wattage, sharper text and finer detail on data and spreadsheets, and no rainbow effect because there is no spinning colour wheel. Best fit for classrooms, boardrooms, lecture halls and any presentation-heavy use. Trade-off: contrast and black levels are lower than DLP, and LCD panels are organic so projectors run 8+ hours a day will see panel-life shorten — that's when polariser yellowing and red/blue convergence drift become service jobs (₹2,500-₹6,500 fitted, 30-day warranty).
